This project was envisioned as the beginning of a global exploration of technology’s seamless integration into everyday life. If the average person maintains up to 100 password-enabled accounts, we wanted the series to showcase the quiet and casual moments that are dependent upon Okta’s robust authorization and account verification software to identify and protect users, wherever they go.
Over the course of 3 days, both still and video cameras worked side-by-side to capture a range of recognizable moments. From pre-coffee email checks and virtual meetings to evening runs and late-night dinner plans, each scenario showcased an effortless and layered portrait of everyday life, enabled by Okta’s reliable identity management.
Using the NYC shoot as a model for what’s to come, we worked alongside Okta’s brand team to develop a distinctive point of view on color and retouching, executed by IDW’s internal post-production team. As Okta’s story continues to unfold across different global cities and cultures, it will carry a signature look that feels unmistakably Okta.
